Designer / developer by day, Rich was dragged along to salsa in 2004 where he soon became hooked and never looked back. With a foundation in cuban and most subsequent teachers being LA Style he's a strong advocate for not always dancing on the line and enjoying the dance! Now entering his 5th year on the team and second as captain he has spend time under the tuturage of Laith Sami, Osbanis and Annette and SuperMario and most idolises the Cobo Brothers.

he says about himself "I love everything with a a heart of fun - especially bachata. Oh, and i'm addicted to the Gyspsy Kings!

Currently working as a dispensing Optician, Nic is into her second year with the team. Having danced throughout childhood it wasn't until 2004 that she found her passion for Salsa.

She soon progressed and started teaching professionally in 2006 for PureSalsa and Salsalicimo and has been involved in organising events within the salsa scene - including Salsa Del Este - and has also performed with the PureSalsa Ladies Team

Once hooked I soon joined the salsa show group of a dance school and performed my first show "Salsa Caliente". I then left the dance school to start with University in another city. However, I felt so passionate about Salsa that I co-founded with a couple of other students a University Salsa Team with the aim to create very entertaining Salsa shows.

And here I am, the Cambridge Salsa Team is definitely the most professional and challenging Showgroup on my Salsa pathway. I am looking forward to great training and performing sessions.

Arthur Beljean Arthur Beljean

Research Scientist by day, passionate dancer by night. I started dancing 8 years ago with my first ballroom dancing lessons and I immediatly fell in love with both latin music and Salsa. I decided to take it to the next level by joining the Falleros Dance Company and I am looking forward to performing with them.

Dancing is my passion, dancing is my life ;-)

THE GIRLS

I have been crazy about dancing since I was 5-years old and started doing ballet in my tiny pink leotard. After growing out from my leotard I have tried different styles from street dance to oriental dancing.

I was first introduced to salsa by my Peruvian friends who were listening this lovely music non-stop. Soon I found myself on salsa lessons almost everyday. Now I have been hooked with salsa about 2,5 years and dancing in Cambridge Salsa Team is the best thing that can happen to a salsaholic like me! When not on the dance floor I am working on my other passion: cancer research

“I danced myself right out the womb” as T-Rex put it. Well more or less, I was 4, and like most little girls I began with Ballet, then through the years moved on to performing and taking medals in everything from Ballroom to Hip-hop. I fell in love with Latin American in particular and then finally came along to salsa lessons in Cambridge in September 2010 and became completely addicted to it from the first lesson, and have never looked back since.

Dancing is my biggest and strongest passion and being on the team just means I can indulge it even more!
