I started Ballroom and Latin dancing when I was an undergraduate and then happily stumbled upon the Cambridge Salsa scene via trying some lessons and meeting lots of nice people. I was then lucky enough to have been taught by some very talented and enthusiastic teachers, from whom I took a lot of inspiration. I joined the team about three years ago and met more nice people that way! I really enjoy helping to teach people Salsa these days, as it's great to see them making progress and coming back thirsting for more! |

Arthur Beljean
Research Scientist by day, passionate dancer by night. I started dancing 8 years ago with my first ballroom dancing lessons and I immediatly fell in love with both latin music and Salsa. I decided to take it to the next level by joining the Falleros Dance Company and I am looking forward to performing with them. Dancing is my passion, dancing is my life ;-) |

Siru I have been crazy about dancing since I was 5-years old and started doing ballet in my tiny pink leotard. After growing out from my leotard I have tried different styles from street dance to oriental dancing. I was first introduced to salsa by my Peruvian friends who were listening this lovely music non-stop. Soon I found myself on salsa lessons almost everyday. Now I have been hooked with salsa about 2,5 years and dancing in Cambridge Salsa Team is the best thing that can happen to a salsaholic like me! When not on the dance floor I am working on my other passion: cancer research |

Laura Lamptey “I danced myself right out the womb” as T-Rex put it. Well more or less, I was 4, and like most little girls I began with Ballet, then through the years moved on to performing and taking medals in everything from Ballroom to Hip-hop. I fell in love with Latin American in particular and then finally came along to salsa lessons in Cambridge in September 2010 and became completely addicted to it from the first lesson, and have never looked back since. Dancing is my biggest and strongest passion and being on the team just means I can indulge it even more! |
