Ivan initially create the team back in 2003 from a competetive salsa class, creating our first routine 'Dame Cinqo'. he then coached the team for another 3 years (with a 1 year absense) and is now married and is currently still active on both the Salsa and Tango scenes

I was dragged to ballet when I was very young, but soon fell in love with the attention and have never looked back. Having danced since before I can remember and performed only ever in dancing roles, it's true to say that it makes up a strong part of who I am. I started salsa back in 2004 when I came to Cambridge and was won over immediately. I joined team in 2010 and due to my militant attitude and love for salsa soon took over as joint captain. When I'm not dancing, I can be found in the Engineering department doing my PhD or doing sport somewhere, somehow.

After jet setting around the salsa world she has recently arrived back in Melbourne having been training with Oliver Pineda in Sydney (yes, mr 5x world salsa champion himself), performing in 2 of his teams - 'Rising Stars' an on2 salsa team, and 'Rythym Junkies' an on2 salsa shines team. Lucy also performed with Johnny Vasquez at the Sydney Salsa Congress 2010, and placed 2nd in the 2010 Australian Salsa Open with her old partner Tuan Phan.

David Yang

Engineer by day, salsaholic by night. I first discovered salsa back in 2006, and instantly fell in love with it. I am the newest addition to the team, and I look forward to learning a lot from my team members, in order to take my dancing to the next level.
I find Frankie Martinez to be one of the most inspiring dancers.
